Pulse is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Display name and avatar (if you create a profile)
- Followed venues and event interests (stored locally)
- Notification preferences
- Approximate location (only when you use distance sorting, never stored on our servers)
- Anonymous usage analytics (crash reports, app version)
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not store your precise GPS coordinates
- We do not require an account to use the app
Local Storage
Most of your data (follows, preferences, profile) is stored on your device. When we add cloud sync in the future, you will be asked for explicit consent before any data leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
We may use Apple's analytics and crash reporting services. These are governed by Apple's own privacy policy. No additional third-party analytics SDKs are used.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. You can also contact us to request data export or deletion.
